About Our School

 

Greetings from Skiatook Intermediate Elementary!   We have a staff of 34 certified educators and 18 support personnel committed to providing all of our students with the education they will need to succeed.  We have approximately 530 students in Third through Fifth Grade.

 

We are a growing school, but still maintain a personal touch, where the students and staff know each other and mutual respect is evident.  We maintain high expectations for students both in academics and in the way they behave and our students rise to those expectations.  Our teachers center their instruction around expected student learning.  We map the teaching skills with attention to National Standards and the State Priority Academic Student Skills (P.A.S.S.).

 

Every classroom has up to date computers that are networked through a central server.  We also have two computer labs, one which is dedicated to the Compass Learning Odyssey Program.  Our parents are able to monitor their children’s progress remotely with the Classroll.com program.  They can check on assignments and grades from any computer with internet access.

 

We have a wonderful P.T.O. and are proud of the working relationship between the home and our school.  We know that in order to be successful we must work together as a team.
