Head Athletic Trainer


Casey Paulk, ATC, LAT

Paulk is in his second year as the head athletic trainer for Skiatook Public Schools.  He is responsible for the care, prevention, assessment, rehabilitation and treatment of athletic related injuries for Skiatook student athletes.

Prior to coming to Skiatook, Paulk was an employee of Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center, where he was the athletic trainer for Broken Arrow High School for three years.  He received his B.S. in Athletic Training from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2005.  After graduation he was an intern athletic trainer for the Texas Rangers Rookie Level baseball club in Surprise, Arizona.  He was also a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Oral Roberts University for two years before working with EOOC.  He is married to Cara and they reside in Skiatook.

Dr. Lorton joined Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center in 2001. After receiving his medical degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, he went on to complete residencies in general surgery and orthopedic surgery at the same institution. Dr. Lorton then went on to complete a fellowship in sports medicine from the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.In addition to his clinical and surgical duties at Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center, Dr. Lorton serves as team physician for Oral Roberts University, The University of Tulsa, Northeastern State University, and Skiatook High School. Dr. Lorton also enjoys running, scuba diving, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Lorton is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Pitts joined Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center in 2007. After receiving his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Pitts went on to complete his residency at the University of Oklahoma – Tulsa. After residency, Dr. Pitts completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine from the University of Oklahoma – Tulsa, College of Medicine.When he’s not seeing patients at Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center, Dr. Pitts serves as team physician for Owasso High School, the Tulsa Drillers, The University of Tulsa, Oral Roberts University, and Northeastern State University. Outside of his practice, Dr. Pitts serves as Assistant Professor for The University of Oklahoma – Tulsa, School of Community Medicine-Family Medicine.Dr. Pitts is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine Certificate of Added Qualification – Sports Medicine.
