Life as a Student at SIE

Life As A 5th Grader

Here at SIE we are working hard to prepare for our State Tests. We have been doing a lot of Reading and Math on Study Island, which is a computer program.

We only have 2 months left at SIE and then we are 6th graders Yeah!

Our teachers have many events planned for us after testing, like a field trip, a fossil find, Little Olympics with Coach Mason and the year end Accelerated Party. That celebration is for any students who has met their Accelerated Reader goal 3 out of 4 nine weeks. We get to go to the High School and have a dodgeball tournament all day. We also get pizza, pop and hopefully a snack. This year we get to make team shirts and paint our faces.

Life As A 4th Grader

At SIE the 4th graders are learning fractions, dividing and improper fractions. We are reading we are reading “I Hate that Cat” and it’s about a kid who does not like cats and loves dogs. He like to write poetry about his dog named Sky.

We are going on a field trip to Pawnee Bill. Where we learn about the wild west. We also, have many fun events scheduled.

Life As A 3rd Grader

The good thing about S.I.E. is we have lockers. We also, like to do Science and Read. What’s good about our school is Mr. Buck is awesome. We learn a lot from Mrs. Hunt, she likes to help us with our science and she loves us. I like to do Art. S.I.E. with Mrs. Gardner and S.I.E  is just a fun place to go to school.
