Say the word Bulldog and you will see an entire community united around being the best. Skiatook Bulldogs are proud of their achievements in academic, athletic, extracurricular activity, and scholastic disciplines.

It is our mission to create an environment in which students can acquire the skills and develop the attitudes necessary to become lifelong learners and productive, responsible citizens. We strive to provide the best possible academic, vocational, recreational, social, and participatory skills, enabling them to become valued, contributing members of a changing global society.

Academics

Skiatook High School is certified by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools. With a passion for what they teach, our teachers are experts in their subject areas. Our students meet or exceed all state test averages. Last year, Skiatook High School had the largest increase in state test scores out of all area suburban high schools.

Active Students

Students who are involved in extra-curricular activities on average have stronger grade point averages. Skiatook students are involved in many activities: academic team, athletics, band, choir, drama, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, photography, student council, or yearbook—to name a few. Our students regularly compete and score well in competitions across the state. Each year we have students or teams who win regional competitions and/or compete in state competitions.

Welcome to School

Skiatook High School encourages safe-school practices. We have a caring faculty and staff, a full-time student resource officer, two assistant principals, and two counselors. Students participate in community volunteering, fundraisers, and donation drives to help families in need.  Our school partners with area business groups and churches. We educate our students on the harmful effects of poor choices, and we have strong enforcement of school rules.  As a result, our students know that their school community will help them when they are in need as well as hold them accountable to maintain high standards.
