Anatomy Students Investigating Respiration During Exercise!
Our anatomy students are studying the amount of carbon dioxide in the lungs before and after physical activity to better understand how our cells require more energy during exercise, and how carbon dioxide is released as a by-product.
The experiment involves using balloons to represent the lungs, where students fill them with carbon dioxide gas from their own lungs. They then release the gas into a cup of color indicator to measure the amount before and after exercise. It's a hands-on way to see how respiration works in real time!

Our Forensics class is diving deep into the science of toxins! Students are investigating how chemicals affect the body by conducting urinalysis tests for chemical identification.
