Bulldog Families,
We are approaching winter break and moving further into the winter season, which may or may not bring inclement weather! Our district prioritizes student and staff safety when monitoring winter weather. The decision to close school or transition to a virtual learning day is a multi-faceted process that involves monitoring weather forecasts, assessing local conditions, and coordinating with local authorities. Please read our Decision-Making Process!
We hope all of our students and staff have a great week leading into winter break!

Zoology class finished up their Cnidarian unit with a jellyfish dissection! Students were up close and personal with moon jellies studying their external features.

🎄 A huge thank you to Cindy Jolley! 🎄
We want to give a big shoutout to Cindy Jolley for being a generous sponsor for our 12 Days of Christmas celebration for staff! 🍪 Mrs. Prock showed off her cookie-decorating skills and won a Starbucks gift card, and ❄️ Mrs. Monk took home a QT gift card for winning our snowflake contest! 📣 FAFSA Night at Skiatook High School!
Do you need help completing your FAFSA or applying for Oklahoma’s Promise? Our Gear UP team will be on campus this Wednesday from 4:30–6:30 PM to assist students and families. The deadline for current high school seniors to apply for Oklahoma's Promise is December 31, 2025.

🎁 SHS Bulldog Angel Tree 🎁
Our Angel Tree is full of Bulldogs who could use a little extra love this holiday season. We still have many angels waiting to be adopted! If you’d like to make a difference, feel free to stop by the high school and pick up an angel. Thank you for helping us spread kindness and joy this Christmas! ❤️

When you can’t beat the cold… you join it! ❄️🍦
Our students made homemade ice cream today — the perfect (and tastiest!) way to learn how to follow a recipe.
They quickly learned that if you don’t follow each step exactly, you might end up with a mini “combustion” and some pretty questionable ice cream on your hands! 😂

Our Advanced Sewing students have been hard at work bringing holiday joy to a local kindergarten class! FACS students created 20 festive Christmas aprons and will be gifting them to a kindergarten class for a special project this December. We’re so proud of their creativity, generosity, and teamwork!

📣 Good luck to our SHS Competition Cheer Squad! 📣
Our athletes will be competing tomorrow at Union High School in the Gameday State Competition. Their division kicks off at 3:00 PM! We’ll also be giving them a proper sendoff with a police escort out of town at 1:30 PM. 🚓✨Come cheer them on at the sendoff and show your support at the competition. Let’s go, Bulldogs! 🐾

School Picture Day tomorrow!!

Shoutout to our amazing FCCLA students!
On Friday, they planned and hosted a career fair for over 300 students at Marrs Elementary! Our students took the initiative to design the entire event themselves—creating eight stations with real-life, hands-on activities representing different careers. They managed the day with grace, teamwork, and flexibility, even when things didn’t go exactly as planned. Special recognition goes to Kasslyn Payne, Hanah Gruenwald, and Nash Roberts for their leadership in creating and organizing the event.

This week we are doing one of our favorite FACS class project! We are making monster pals for MARRs Kindergarten students! The kindergarten classes got to make and design their own monsters, and our FACS students used sewing skills to make their monsters come to life!

SHS Seniors and their families are invited to join us on Monday, November 10th from 4:30pm - 6:30pm in the Skiatook High School Library for a FAFSA and OK Promise Night. Come enjoy some Fall refreshments while you Fall into FAFSA and Harvest Your Future! 🍂🍁😉 (I've heard there may even be walking frito chili pies! 👀)

Help with your Oklahoma's Promise application will also be available. December 31st is the deadline for the class of 2026 to apply!
To ensure a smooth and efficient process for the FAFSA, please bring the following documents with you:
