Please help us welcome our new Superintendent, Mr. Clay Vinyard! Mr. Vinyard, thank you for sharing the below message!
Excited to Join the Bulldog Family!!!
I’m truly honored to begin this journey as the new Superintendent of Skiatook Public Schools. From my first visit, I could feel the pride and heart of this incredible community, and I’m committed to honoring that spirit every step of the way.
As an educator and leader, my values are simple but powerful:
✔️ Servant Leadership
✔️ People and Culture Matter
✔️ Every Voice Counts
✔️ Work with Purpose and Heart
✔️ Focus on Growth Through Continuous Improvement
In the coming weeks, I’ll be out in schools, meeting our team, our families, and members of the community, and listening to your hopes for the future. I’m excited to roll up my sleeves and get to work alongside such talented educators and supportive community members. It’s clear that Skiatook has a proud tradition of excellence, and I’m committed to building upon that legacy with care, collaboration, and purpose!

Important message regarding the summer feeding program available for our students this summer!

As of 8:50 am this morning (Wednesday May 14) the school district has no incoming or outgoing phone service. We have been in contact with our service provider and they believe it is an issue on their end.

On April 30th and May 1st, 2025, the decision was made to close school due to the flooding of Bird Creek. Due to schools being allowed to count the school calendar by days and minutes, the district is still above the minimum required by the state, so we will not have to add any additional days to our school calendar for the days missed. The final day of school for this year will remain Friday, May 16, 2025.

We want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank our incredible bus drivers for their outstanding service and commitment. Their dedication to ensuring student and staff safety daily is truly commendable. Please join us in showing our appreciation for their hard work this week!

Skiatook Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, May 1st, due to the flooding situation of main roads and some rural roads. This will not be a distance learning day.

Skiatook Public Schools will be closed today, Wednesday, April 30th, due to flooding of major roads and side roads.

Good afternoon. Due to an unforseen delay, bus #20 is running approximately 20 minutes late on the afternoon route. Thank you.

Congratulations, Mrs. Blevins, Skiatook Intermediate Teacher, for being selected as the Skiatook Public Schools District Teacher of the Year!

Parents,
Just a reminder that our Pre-K/Kindergarten round-up is Wednesday, April 9th, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Due to a fiber optic issue, Marrs Elementary and the Education Service Center are currently without phone or internet service today (Friday March 28th). The service provider has been contacted, but no estimated time for restoration of services has been provided.

Due to a unknown network issue, the Intermediate Elementary does not have phone service or internet access.. We hope to have services restored as soon as possible on Monday, March 24th. The rest of the school district is not affected.
